How Do I Choose a Cleanser?

Q. How do I know which cleanser is best for my skin type? I have very oily skin and I am sure I don’t need the same products as someone with dry skin.

MyChelle Dermaceuticals licensed esthetician  Catie Wiggy responds:

You’re right!  Different skin types have different needs. For oily skin, I would recommend the White Cranberry Cleanser,  a naturally exfoliating and pore-clearing cleanser that brings skin into healthy balance. Willow Bark and Totarolâ„¢ help bring balance to oily and blemish-prone skin conditions. Pomegranate, a super fruit rich in antioxidants and naturally exfoliating fruit acids, protects against environmental aggressors, while keeping pores clear and skin calm.

If your skin isn’t oily, don’t dispair. MyChelle cleansers offer a solution for all types of skin. Whether you are troubled by clogged pores, dehydration or discoloration, you’ll find what you need to bring your complexion back into healthy, luminous balance.

Not only that, but MyChelle cleansers do more than just clean your skin. With pore purifying essential oils, exfoliating fruit acids, natural skin brighteners and protecting antioxidants, our cleansers give your skin a boost of care in addition to natural cleansing.

I need something to control oil all day long. There are lots of quick scrubs, etc that control oil initially. But 2 hours later I’m left with a slimy oily face again. I do not have blemishes or acne, just oil. Its disgusting. Years ago I used Accutane and it worked wonders at controlling oil all day long, but it’s a horrible medication on the liver, and I don’t think it’s even used anymore. Any suggestions other than constantly washing my face ?
