Last-Minute Homemade Gift: Peppermint Sugar Scrub
Need a gift for a friend, family member, co-worker or teacher? This recipe involves 3 simple ingredients that you might already have on hand. (Plus, it smells absolutely divine!)
Body scrubs are a perfect gift for both men and women, young and old. They can be used on feet, hands, face and body – to refresh, renew and give the skin a warm, radiant glow. This simple recipe includes sugar to exfoliate, coconut oil to hydrate and peppermint oil to awaken the senses.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups organic granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup certified organic coconut oil, melted
- Peppermint oil
Gather up some glass jars – I got mine in the canning section of the local grocery store (they even came with cute label stickers!). In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and melted coconut oil. Next, add a few drops of peppermint essential oil to give it that wonderful, refreshing scent. Scoop the mixture into each jar, affix the label and tie a simple bow
Voila, the perfect gift!
Don’t forget to set aside one for yourself. After all, you deserve a little pampering, too!
