Quick cooking directions:
To cook stovetop oatmeal for two, combine water and salt in a saucepan. Bring water to a boil, turn heat to low and add rolled oats. Simmer for about five minutes, stirring occasionally, until water is absorbed. Remove pan from burner.
Jazz it up:
Give your oatmeal a light, sweet crunch—and a nutritious boost—with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a dash of hemp seeds (just one tablespoon packs an extra 5 grams of protein, and Nativas Naturals brand is certified organic, gluten free and vegan!).
After mixing in cinnamon and hemp seeds, let oatmeal sit for five minutes, then serve.
