Blueberry-Banana Protein Smoothie

Beautiful, brightly colored layers of rich blueberries and creamy banana make this smoothie not only a feast for the eyes but a rather belly-filling feast any time of day. With high-quality About Time protein and non-fat Greek yogurt, it’s perfect post-workout. Or, add a topping of strawberry slices and serve it as an icy-cold Fourth of July refresher. The red, white and blue tiers will pair well with a little American flag snuck in for decoration.

Ingredients

Bottom layer:

½ frozen banana
½ scoop About Time Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
¼ cup plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
¼ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tsp honey
¼ cup crushed ice

Top layer:

1/3 cup frozen blueberries
½ scoop About Time Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
¼ cup plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
3 Tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tsp honey
¼ cup crushed ice

Directions

  1. In a blender, puree ingredients of the bottom banana layer. Pour into a glass.
  2. Add top layer ingredients to blender and puree until smooth.
  3. Pour over banana mixture and enjoy!
