Mint Chip Frozen Greek Yogurt

This is not the mint chocolate chip ice cream recipe you remember from your childhood. Ice cream has evolved over the years, from the classic dairy delight atop a sugar cone to a low-fat, yogurt-filled cup with fresh fruit and superfood toppings. Taking the healthy dessert trend one step further, this yogurt recipe has gone pro with a muscle-building mix-in you can feel good eating right before bed or right after a workout.    

Mint chocolate protein frozen yogurt

Mint Chip Frozen Greek Yogurt

Ingredients

1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 packets stevia
1 tsp. mint extract or alcohol-free peppermint flavor
2 Tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped
dash of salt

Mix all ingredients together and freeze until it becomes an ice cream consistency, about 2-3 hours.

    Do you put this in an ice cream maker and churn it or just freeze in a freezer? It looks really good!!

    1. No additional equipment necessary – you can mix it yourself and freeze it in the freezer! Let us know if you try it :)
