Stevia is available in powder, granule or liquid form. Because it’s so much sweeter than sugar, you’ll use less of it when baking and sweetening beverages. For recipes, try a spoonable stevia, such as Stevita Spoonable or Truvia granules. Here’s a simple conversion guide.

  • 1 cup sugar = 1/3 cup + 1-1/2 Tbsp. stevia
  • 1/2 cup sugar = 3-1/2 Tbsp. stevia
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar = 1-1/4 tsp. stevia
  • 1 tsp. sugar = 3/8 tsp. stevia

Taste may vary according to brand, so experiment with amounts until you find the level of sweetness that’s right for you!
