Still not sure which fats are good and which are bad? Or how much of each you can eat?
Wellness Times editor Karolyn Gazella and Dr. Herb Joiner-Bey team up in this week’s podcast to tackle this hot topic.
He recommends reducing your intake of omega-6 fatty acids from vegetable oils, meats from grain-fed animals and margarine. (Avoid anything with partially hydrogenated oil on the label.)
At the same time, he advocates increasing your consumption of omega-3 essential fatty acids, from sources such as flaxseed oil, fish oil and chia seeds.
Listen to the full podcast to learn more about what each type of fat can do to your body and to discover the secrets to getting more omega-3s in your diet.
