Big Game Buffalo Wing Hummus

Whether you’re cheering on your favorite team or just in it for the commercials, make this weekend’s big game day celebration more fun with some tasty snacks. This spicy spin on classic hummus gets its kick from a dash of chili powder and a combination of barbecue and hot sauce. Serve it with pita chips, pretzels or fresh-cut veggies to score big with your party guests!

Serves 8

Ingredients

2 cups organic chickpeas, drained and rinsed (reserve ¼ cup of the liquid from can)
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. tahini
3 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
1 Tbsp. hot sauce
1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground white pepper

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor; pulse until smooth.   Serve with crackers, chips, pretzels or fresh-cut veggies.
