The holiday season may be on its way out, but the color green is here to stay! Blend up a banana-berry smoothie, then toss in a handful of veggies, some chia seeds and a scoop of vegan protein powder for a revitalizing, nutrient-packed drink.
Green Banana-Berry Smoothie
1/3 cup frozen broccoli
¼ cup frozen micro greens
1/3 cup frozen berries
¼ chopped frozen banana
2 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 to 2 scoops vegan protein powder
¼ cup to ½ cup water (depending on desired consistency)
1. Combine all ingredients in blender and blend well. Use less water for thicker consistency.
