Minty Hot Cocoa

Baby, it’s cold outside! Bundle up and brew a mug of minty hot cocoa to keep your belly happy and hands toasty warm. Powdered packet mixes don’t compare to this delightful steamy drink, made with almond milk, rich cacao and a pinch of pure peppermint. Simmer on your stovetop until bubbly, and let the chocolate-mint bliss begin!

Minty Hot Cocoa

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cacao powder or cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. peppermint extract
Optional: pinch of pure stevia, to taste*

 

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in small sauce pan over medium-low heat.

2. Warm just until bubbles start to form; remove from heat and serve.
