Spicy Almond Green Smoothie

Sweet smoothies hit the spot–most of the time. But if you’re craving something with a little more “kick,” try sipping this spicy drink instead. Greens and seeds come together with creamy almond butter and a dash of chipotle powder for a hearty, healthy brew with just the right amount of heat!

Spicy Almond Green Smoothie

Serves 1

Ingredients

½ cup frozen romaine lettuce
1/2 cup frozen kale, stems removed
1/2 cup frozen zucchini
1 Tbsp. basil, chopped
1 scoop  vegan, soy-free protein powder
1 Tbsp.  almond butter
1 Tbsp.  flax seeds
1/2 tsp. chipotle powder
1/4 cup water

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy.
