Carrot Cake Smoothie

Rain is rapping on your windows, your hair has gone haywire and your eyes puffed up like a macaroon. The day isn’t ruined just yet. Do something good for body, mind and spirit (and taste buds!) by mixing a cleansing carrot cake protein smoothie, rich in beta-carotene. When beta-carotene converts to vitamin A, you get antioxidant protection for your eyes, teeth and skin. It’s like an instant beauty potion you can drink with a smile. Ahh, what a good morning!

Carrot Cake Smoothie

Makes: 1 smoothie
Nutritional profile:  342 calories, 49 grams of carbs and a filling 25 grams of protein

Ingredients

3 large carrots, juiced
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
1 scoop About Time Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder
1 medium banana
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg


Directions

1. In a blender, mix all ingredients together.

2. Add ice cubes and continue to blend until thick and creamy.

3. Drink up and enjoy!
