First, a quick update about my adventures as a Cave Girl (aka the paleo diet). I’ve lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks, feel super high-energy, am never hungry…and all of that is wonderful. But, I had been in horrible need of a “detox.” And by that I mean despite my very high consumption of vegetables and fruit, the sheer amount of protein I’ve taking in has meant I hadn’t been visiting the bathroom as much as I used to. In all seriousness, you really do have deep-stare-worthy peepers and they shouldn’t be taken for granted — by you or anyone else. So enough with the excessive rubbing, scratching and plucking! To see what others see, you have to keep your eyes sharp. Read more →
Did you know that a healthy heart typically pumps oxygen-rich blood to every part of the body 100,000 times a day? And that the heart has its own electrical system to control your heartbeat?
