You have such beautiful eyes…said the last guy who tried to pick you up. In all seriousness, you really do have deep-stare-worthy peepers and they shouldn’t be taken for granted — by you or anyone else. So enough with the excessive rubbing, scratching and plucking! To see what others see, you have to keep your eyes sharp.
Your eyes are the window to the soul. Anyone you’d want to keep near and dear doesn’t just see a pair of beautiful blues. They see a beautiful heart and soul when they look into your eyes. To keep them looking healthy and seeing straight, you have to show your lookers some love — it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. Get some shut eye.
Why? Beauty sleep is not just for fairy tales. You need it to not only rest your mind and body but rejuvenate your skin and help prevent dark circles from creeping up under your eyes. Lack of quality Zzzzs can cause blood vessels to dilate, which is what produces those spooky shadows.
How? If you have troubles falling asleep, drop a tiny amount of pure lavender oil on your pillow to help you relax. When I’m really struggling, I rely on Bucky Eye Shade with Ear Plugs to block out any distracting light and noise. Don’t forget to turn off any electronics — including your phone — at least an hour or two before you go to bed.
2. Bat away wrinkles.
Why? Fine lines and wrinkles make even 20-somethings look wise beyond their years — but not in a good way. As far as I’m concerned, you can leave the bags, circles and lines at the airport, because this chica is not okay waking up with all of that under her eyes!
3. Seek support.
Why? This world is a beautiful place and you have lots left to see! Appreciate the gift of vision by making sure you can always see the beauty in yourself and in others. So, keep your eyes healthy by feeding them the nutrients they need to stay sharp.
How? Try taking a supplement that supports healthy eyes, such as Vitacost Eye Defense Formula which provides a slew of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to help maintain healthy vision.
