Primrose oil, in capsule form, has been part of my supplement regimen for ages–I can’t even remember when I started taking it to “keep me sane” during that time of the month, and I’ve continued to take it because it now “keeps me sane” when the hot flashes attack. I have never tried liquid primrose oil before, though. I just saw on TV that the liquid form is great for skin issues and as an anti-aging agent.
I’ve got some Aubrey Organics liquid primrose shipping from Vitacost.com in my next order, but in the meantime, I took a pin and squeezed the liquid out of a capsule and tried applying it to my skin. You know what? That stuff is soooo silky! I really loved the way it felt on my face. Kind of like argan oil, but lighter. Can’t wait to try out the liquid stuff–and to avoid cluttering my already insanely cluttered countertop, I might just try dropping a little bit of the liquid in my morning kale smoothie rather than swallowing it, once I run out of this month’s supply of capsules. It doesn’t have a harsh taste or smell and all and probably will blend right in with my green monster!
