When I heard Vitacost ® was launching a new sports nutrition line, I couldn’t have been more excited. From my experience with other Vitacost-brand products, I knew it would be top quality — and that it would be priced right. After trying several products, I can honestly say my hunches were right on. Whether you’re a woman or a man, a hardcore bodybuilder or someone just looking to get or stay fit, Vitacost ® ARO™ products are a smart choice that you’re going to absolutely love.
Here are my thoughts on a few of the most popular Vitacost ® AROâ„¢ products. Give them a try and let me know what you think!
Vitacost ® ARO™ Pink Lemonade Preworkout Concentrate
I’ve used many different preworkout supplements, but this one really delivers. It tastes great, mixes easily and made me feel energized through my entire workout. Unlike other formulas, this one contains an exclusive herbal blend with ginkgo biloba, guarana, green coffee bean and yerba mate. Plus, it provides an energy boost from pure caffeine and antioxidants from green tea.
The taste? Amazing. Just like real pink lemonade! It doesn’t have any artificial colors or dyes and is made with natural flavors. I keep it in my gym bag so I can mix it into my water before I work out.
Vitacost ® ARO™ Chocolate Peanut Butter Whey Protein Complex PLUS
Chocolate peanut butter is one of my all-time favorite flavors, so when I saw it was an option for the new ARO Whey Protein powder””I couldn’t wait to make a shake! Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. It mixed up into a smooth, creamy, dessert-like drink I really enjoyed. The best part? In addition to 20 grams of protein, it also supplies fiber, BCAAs, vitamins and minerals.
Vitacost ® ARO™ Natural Chocolate Casein
Casein protein is ideal for a nighttime shake. Unlike whey protein, casein is slow to break down, allowing delayed amino acid release for a steadier stream of nutrition over a longer period of time. So while you’re sleeping, your metabolism keeps going! One of the hardest things to find with casein protein powders is good mixability. With Vitacost ® AROâ„¢, blending was not an issue. I was able to create smooth, pleasantly drinkable shakes with very little effort. AROâ„¢ Casein delivers 24 grams of quality micellar casein protein, and it contains natural chocolate flavor from real Dutch process cocoa ““ no added sugar!
Vitacost ® ARO™ Creatine Raw (Unflavored)
I use creatine daily to enhance muscle performance during my workouts and to help increase lean body mass and muscular strength. So the quality of the product I use is important to me. AROâ„¢ Creatine is a pure creatine monohydrate that’s micronized for easy mixing and better absorption. I love that it’s unflavored, too, so I can mix it with my protein powder for a mega post-workout shake!
Vitacost ® ARO™ Glutamine Raw (Unflavored)
Also added to my post workout protein shake (I call this my mega shake) is glutamine. Glutamine is great for recovery support, helping to defend against stress and muscle fatigue. I like that AROâ„¢ Glutamine powder supplies a whopping 5 grams of L-glutamine per scoop, and that it’s unflavored (like the Creatine Raw), so I can add it to any drink without it altering the taste. All of the Vitacost ® AROâ„¢ brand products work really well together.
Vitacost ® ARO™ BCAA (Natural Fruit Punch flavor)
BCAAs are a number one supplement you’ll see most people taking before, during or after workouts. Instead of just drinking your water plain, enhance it with an easy-to-mix powder that has a refreshing taste. Using BCAAs may help maintain optimal performance during exercise, maintain lean muscle mass and support muscle tissue from breakdown.
