Ever step out of the shower, clean as a whistle, towel off and within minutes your skin feels tight and itchy? Let me guess. You used soap. That trusty, dependable bar that’s been your bath buddy since childhood is somewhat of an enemy now that the rubber ducky is retired and your skin is struggling to stay hydrated as time ticks by.
Four family-sized boxes of Reduced Fat Wheat Thins, and the novel Bleak House by Charles Dickens: that’s what my husband brought to the hospital when I unexpectedly went into labor with our first baby three weeks early. At that point in the game, I’d found a suitcase to pack for the hospital, but hadn’t yet gotten around to packing it with diapers, booties and items that would have made sense—and in a nervous panic, my husband decided that day seemed like a better time than any to get cracking on a 700+ page novel he knew I’d never read. Um, pass.

Let’s talk dirty, guys. I’m referring to dirty skin, of course. We’re all guilty of being busy and living fast and fabulous lifestyles. We work hard and play hard. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome. My mind is free, my body is healthy, and my soul is fulfilled. But I’m also a sweaty, stinky, sandy mess. Sorry, it’s the truth. Since I’m not the type to forego hanging with my kids and enjoying the summertime sun, I have an armory of natural products to keep any odiferous offense at bay.
Stressful day? Sometimes you just need to escape… which is why we’re giving away a relaxing bath package from Deep Steep!
You’re due for a little pampering, aren’t you, Bombshells? The school year has dragged on and you haven’t taken a single day off of work that didn’t involve someone having a fever or a sore throat. You’ve been running yourself ragged with science projects, quarterly reports and Quidditch matches in your living room. Late to bed and early to rise; stick a fork in you, you’re done.
