This blog is called The Bombshell Mommy, as you know. So, in honor of Mother’s Day, I want to talk about why being a mom is the sexiest thing on Earth. Wipe that look off your face. I see it. You’re thinking, “Not with these stretch marks and saggy boobs or my koala pouch belly.” I don’t want to hear it. We are beautiful because we are mothers, not in spite of the fact.

We are strong. We have fought, and conquered, mental and physical battles that our less-experienced counterparts couldn’t imagine. We’ve learned, first hand, the beauty of what the female body can create—surviving weeks, if not months, of nausea and food aversions, followed by ravenous hunger and the exponential growth of our bellies as we nourished an entire other being inside of us.  Read more →
