We have a cat named India. She came to us on our son Phoenix’s fifth birthday. Synchronistically, she is 5 too.
I grew up with four cats and a big dog, all of which were strays my sister brought home. Our mom took care of ‘em. Oh, we said we would, my three siblings and I, but Mom did all the work.
