Are you a terrible sleeper? Do you stay up late working, or worse yet, worrying? Sleep isn’t just a good habit. It’s important for your overall health. Now, don’t come back at me with any of that mess about how you’re fine on five hours or any other nonsense. Sleep is important to repair your cells, recharge your brain and rebuild your muscles. When you deprive yourself of the necessary hours, you are not putting your best self out there each day. So today, I’ve got four tips for getting a better night’s sleep.

Getting back into the school-year groove is a mixed blessing. For both parents and children, the late summer and early fall typically means a return to a predictable routine. But it also often means jammed-packed schedules: after-school activities, keeping up grades and studying for critical exams. More often than I care to admit, I fall asleep without washing my face. I live with the repercussions of blemishes, premature aging, and overall oiliness, meaning I end up needing more skin care products and costing myself more money, not to mention I’m old enough to know better.
