Make Your Own Natural Mouthwash
Tired of conventional mouthwashes that dry out your mouth and expose you to hazardous ingredients? Make your own natural mouthwash instead – it’s quick, easy and chemical-free!
The typical mouthwash contains a number of questionable ingredients, including alcohol, chemical sweeteners and artificial dyes. Alcohol is included to kill germs, but it also wipes out a number of friendly microorganisms, as well as your own saliva – both of which work together to keep your mouth clean and healthy. Artificial sweeteners and dyes can contain a number of questionable chemicals, including petroleum byproducts.
Avoid the unpleasant effects of conventional mouthwash by mixing your own. Simply combine the following ingredients in clean bottle or other container with a tight-fitting cap:
½ cup distilled water
1 cup aloe vera juice
2 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp witch hazel
20 drops peppermint essential oil
Swish twice a day for a soothing, refreshing and natural way to support fresh breath and a clean mouth!

I wonder if this formulation will work on my dog VitaHound’s bad breath. Cleaning dog teeth is tough with VitaHound and I was hoping to find product for bad breath in dogs.
Ok so you get fresh breath ,but how effective is it for killing germs?
This is great!
